Gaining it must be the greatest chase in a human lifetime.
We think we have it until suddenly, we are pushed out of that which is familiar or expected.
We travel to a new place. A loved one passes away. A street side conversation changes our mental frame entirely.
In all cases, the world somehow becomes a bigger place.
Space is created for previously non-existent thoughts, considerations, possibilities.
I am driven by that chase.
There is something thrilling
in realizing that your frame of reference is expandable.
Traversing landscapes
crossing borders
finding new rhythms
